9/17 (木) 福岡アートネットワーク・デー 「Poetics as Bioethics」サテライトプログラム:詩と音楽

2026.08.15

ACFアカデミー

tiger lily
2025年に福岡を拠点として始動したワールド・フォーク音楽プロジェクト。

As a satellite to the symposium “Poetics as Bioethics,” taking place at Kyushu University (September 16–19), the Poetry and Music Event extends the theme of poetics as bioethics into a live, performative space where language, sound, and relational encounter converge. Held at the Artist Cafe Fukuoka, the event brings together poets, scholars, and musicians in a bilingual Japanese–English program that foregrounds responsiveness, collaboration, and shared experience.

Structured as a sequence of alternating readings and musical performances, the evening centers on a multipart poetry reading by headline poet Hiyori Kojima in Japanese, with invited symposium participants offering improvised or reflective responses in English. This dialogic format enacts many of the symposium’s core ideas: distributed authorship, intercultural translation, and the ethical work of listening and receptivity. Musical interludes by Mizuki Somura and tiger lily further deepen the atmosphere of attentiveness, embodiment, and affective exchange.

By projecting translations and encouraging audience engagement, the event creates an inclusive “third space” in which meaning is co-constructed across languages, disciplines, and artistic forms. The closing networking session reinforces this ethos, inviting participants to extend poetic dialogue into social connection.

In line with the symposium, this satellite program demonstrates how poetic practice, when combined with music and performance, can function as a lived, communal form of bioethics—cultivating care, empathy, and imaginative understanding through shared artistic experience.
